Oil and gas exploration require a large number of economic resources in onshore and offshore environments, however, our offshore environment requires more resources and numbers from developmet to sustainability. Field Development and Prospectivity Studies have the main objective of maximizing the revenue from every given investment.

Scenarios with the greatest median (P50), Net Present Value (NPV) and lowest spread between P10 and P90 NPV are usually selected. Economical evaluation is complicated because there are so many variables to be considered in the study and decision-making process.

In today’s Exploration and Production identifying viable assets has become very challenging hence the need for very experienced teams and advanced technologies available in the industry to make informed economically viable decisions, as such Gove Energy guides FDP studies from the initial stage down to production sustainability.

Our area of studies includes

  • 2D/3D/4D Seismic Data PSDM Interpretation
  • Exploration and prospect Maturation
  • Integrated Reservoir studies
  • Static & Dynamic Reservoir Modelling
  • Provision of Wellsite Geologist
  • Pore Pressure Analysis
  • Drill queue generation
  • Fault seal analysis
  • Asset Acquisition, Review and Management
  • Rock Physics
  • Environmental Impact Assessment, EIA
  • Risk Assessment and Optimization

Seismic Data Interpretation

Our state-of-the-art interpretation tools offer a new way to detect and characterize fractures and other small reservoir heterogeneities. The Geomage Multi Focusing Diffraction Imaging comprehensively describes these diffractions. We use calibrated borehole data to identify and interpret the geological horizons that are of significance to the hydrocarbon system. The major faulting system are also interpreted.
